Eric Jones, MCC Welding and Cutting Technology program coordinator and instructor has been named MCCer of the Month for September.
Diesel Mechanic Technology students picked up, unloaded, cataloged, and assembled news tools of their trade during a recent class session. Each received about $1,500 worth of equipment to use in class and later on the job.
Hazel A. Temple, 75, and her sister, Clementine, 73, will serve as ambassadors for Meridian Community College's Queen City Race for Life and Street Strut on Saturday, Oct. 18, beginning at 8 a.m. on the MCC track.
Honoring those who have sacrificially given and their families, MCC hosted a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag-raising ceremony with campus and community turning out in front of Ivy-Scaggs Hall.
The H.O.P.E. Expo was created to link area residents with vital health and wellness resources. It was hosted by MCC Phi Theta Kappa, MCC Special Olympics Club, Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, and The S.P.O.T.
