Meridian Community College is an accredited comprehensive Mississippi public community college that provides university transfer courses, career and technical education programs, adult basic education and high school equivalency (ABE/HSE) services and continuing education and workforce training programs which are responsive to the needs of the East Mississippi community. All career and technical program applicants are required to meet the college’s general admission criteria as well as the individual program’s admission criteria. Some programs, such as those in nursing and health education, are competitive and may have required minimum standards, however, all career and technical education programs are offered without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion or age.
