Wade Heggie, fitness center director, said the college's pool, which has a depth of 10 feet, has again served as a site to practice diving exercises that simulated emergencies.
Meridian Community College offers new students one-day orientation events to enhance their college experience and create a smooth transition to college life. The sessions are June 25, July 10, July 18, and Aug. 16.
With two decades of education under her belt, Jaycee Butler has joined Meridian Community College as the executive assistant to the vice president for institutional advancement and MCC Foundation office coordinator.
His passion for music, which blossomed into a profession and life, will be shared with local and area students and community residents as King begins his work as the new director of bands at Meridian Community College.
