The Mississippi Humanities Council sponsors the Humanities Teacher of the Year Award, recognizing the outstanding work of the humanities faculty who have made significant advancements in the mission of the humanities in the state.
MCC’s Dimensions will perform in concert Thursday, April 7, in the McCain Theater. The audience will hear a variety of music including rock classics by Elton John, Aretha Franklin, and Billy Joel.
The first Tanya Renia Ocampo Memorial Walk is set for Saturday, April 2 at the MCC Track. Proceeds from the walk will be earmarked to create an endowment for the Tanya Renia Ocampo Memorial Scholarship.
36 Meridian High honor roll male students participated in a unique day-long camp, Experience the O.N.E. - Occupations Not Usually Explored by Men, at the College.
