College for Kids 2026
College for Kids is MCC’s annual summer camp experience for children ages 6–12. Each year, hundreds of young learners come to campus to explore hands-on classes in art, science, sports, technology, cooking, and more!

Experience the fun of creatures big and small. Learn the care and respect that every animal needs. Make friends with tortoises, kittens, bunnies, ponies, and snakes! And if you would like you can even milk a goat!
Use your imagination and a variety of materials to create unique artwork! Come with enthusiasm – Leave as an artist! Students will learn color, design, and other art elements through fun and messy processes. Use your imagination and a variety of materials to create different projects. Paint, sculpt, make collages and explore texture.
Dive into the excitement of our lively basketball class! Led by enthusiastic instructors, this dynamic session blends skill development with friendly play, creating a fun and inclusive environment for all levels of players.

Calling all trendsetters! Kids will sketch outfits, design patterns, and create mini runway-ready looks. From fabrics to flair, this class turns creativity into real fashion fun.
Build and customize your own car, then put it to the test! Race against your teammates to see whose car is the fastest, the toughest, and the coolest. Will your creation take the top spot?

Tailored for young enthusiasts, this engaging session combines skill-building, teamwork, and loads of fun on the court, introducing the next generation to the joy of this fast-paced and dynamic sport.
Kids will have the chance to mold, sculpt, and create their own masterpieces using clay. Whether it’s tiny animals, funky shapes, or custom creations, there’s no limit to what they can make.
In this fun and creative jewelry-making class, kids will design and craft their own unique accessories using colorful beads, charms, and more. From friendship bracelets to funky necklaces, each piece will be a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Meet me in the lab! Experiment with making lots of crazy concoctions. Make gruesome goo, monster bubbles, and an active volcano. Students use their creative minds and scientific methods to implement their own crazy experiments. There will be demonstrations, hands-on activities, and group discussions that will make learning science fun!
Blast off into a fun, inclusive space adventure where every child shines! In Galaxy of Acceptance, students explore feelings, friendships, and teamwork through cosmic crafts, sensory-friendly activities, and SEL-focused space missions. A welcoming place for kids to build confidence, connect with others, and discover just how out-of-this-world amazing they are
Make and package bath and body products using all-natural recipes. Make body scrub, bath balls, lip gloss, lotion, and hand salve from scratch! Enjoy the spa experience!

During this fun and ever-changing week, kids will be introduced to a new sport every day to learn the very basics, and most of all... HAVE FUN! Develop self-esteem and a healthy attitude about team building and sportsmanship. Slip and slide on an inflatable water slide on the final day of camp!
Learn and practice basic grips, forehand and backhand strokes, how to serve and volley. Bring your own racket and wear tennis shoes!
Be a part of fun physical activities that teach individual and team-building skills. Not your regular sports – these are all WACKY SPORTS! The last day of the week is WATER DAY – splish splash on the inflatable water slide!
Build your very own rocket. Learn scientific facts about rockets and how they work. You will LAUNCH your rocket – family and friends invited to the blast-off day!
