Some 25 local and state government officials got a closer look at Meridian Community College, focusing on healthcare education-related programs when College officials hosted an on-campus tour.
At this year's My College Cares event, 550 MCCers, including over 60 college faculty and staff members, dedicated their time and efforts to giving back to the community.
Jamila Brown Coleman and Margarette Cole were the first and second-place winners in the Coalition on Adult Basic Education's contest held during National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week.
My College Cares is a one-day event where the campus closes so students and employees can venture out into the community and volunteer in tasks that range from cleaning, painting, organizing, gardening, and more.
