Meridian Community College ushered in the holiday season with events that brought students, faculty, and staff together to celebrate and connect.
The project began with funding from the Mississippi NASA Space Grant and has grown opportunities for students to get real-world scientific experience, said Dr. Angie Carraway, MCC Space Grant Campus coordinator.
Everyone - both past and present - who has served and contributed to the military is critical to its success, said Capt. Luke Davis, NAS Meridian commander, when he presented the keynote address at Meridian Community College's Veterans Day Celebration.
To honor those who are serving and those who have served in the nation's military, MCC will hold its annual Veterans Day Program on Monday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in the College's Graham Gymnasium.
