All shades of pink and green could be seen in front of Meridian Community College's Ivy-Scaggs Hall as October was proclaimed Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
More than 500 students, primarily high school seniors and some high school juniors, came to MCC's campus to participate in the annual MACRAO College and Career Fair.
"If you know someone who needs to get their high school equivalency diploma, learn to read, or improve their basic skills, let us know. We'll be glad to help," said Jennifer Whitlock, director of adult education.
MCC will usher in Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a kickoff celebration on Sept. 29. Campus and community are invited to wear pink and learn more about the 2023 Queen City Race for Life and Street Strut.
