For the eighth consecutive year, students in the Medical Laboratory Technology Program at Meridian Community College have achieved a 100 percent pass rate on their national board of certification (BOC) examination.
Meridian Community College celebrated the completion of one of its largest Phlebotomy Essentials classes, as 17 students finished the intensive workforce training program and prepared to enter the healthcare field.
MCC's Dental Hygiene Technology Program Class of 2026 achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the national credentialing exam. This year's class includes Brittney Martin, Reagan Dyess, Neena Walters, Anna Grace Hoover, Ariadna Magana, Ashlee McDonald, Courtney Odom, Natalie Pierce, and Megan Rodriguez.
Twenty-nine Meridian Community College students were celebrated as they were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for 2025-26.
Evyn McDaniel was awarded the Mississippi Nurses Foundation Scholarship, which recognizes nursing students who show strong skills and a commitment to making a difference in patients' lives.
