Incorporating the theme, "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes," keynote speaker Mississippi University for Women President Nora Roberts Miller told and showed the luncheon audience her love of shoes using them as life metaphors.
Incorporating the theme of "A Mile in Her Shoes," Meridian Community College's Student Engagement will host a Women's History Month celebration on Wednesday, March 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Two Mississippi-based artists, Laura Greer Holladay and Byron Myrick, will share MCC's Miller Art Gallery space with their encaustic paintings and ceramics, respectively, for the Feb. 24-March 31 exhibition.
Taking its cue from the national organization, the National Association of Student Financial Aid and Administrators, MCC's Financial Aid department is celebrating Financial Aid Awareness Month in February.
