One hundred and fifty-three Meridian Community College students were selected for membership in the Nu Upsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa when the MCC chapter hosted its annual celebration to congratulate the honorees.
Whether it's sharing their skills or giving of their time, Meridian Community College students can often be found in the community; two student-based groups have recently done that.
Incorporating the theme, "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes," keynote speaker Mississippi University for Women President Nora Roberts Miller told and showed the luncheon audience her love of shoes using them as life metaphors.
Incorporating the theme of "A Mile in Her Shoes," Meridian Community College's Student Engagement will host a Women's History Month celebration on Wednesday, March 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
