Talking up science

Meridian Community College welcomed THEE Aristocrats, a science, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) program from Jackson State University, for a presentation focusing on opportunities available at the university. The event saw participation from chemistry, biology, physics, and math students at MCC. 

Noel Gardner, director of THEE Aristocrats; Roderick C. McDowell, success coach for THEE Aristocrats; and Albert Tate, an electrical engineering student from Carthage, shared about the JSU program that provides students with the necessary tools to succeed in the classroom and workforce including mentoring, life skills, community service, networking, and educational experiences.
