MCC will offer new students one-day orientation events to enhance their college experience and create a smooth transition to college life. The sessions are June 24, July 17, Aug. 6, and Aug. 15.
Seven MCC Associate Degree Nursing students received scholarships from Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center to continue their studies in the College's program. The scholarships are $2,500 each.
MCC's College for Kids will again host youths ages 6-12 on campus to learn, have fun, and create memories. Led this year by Ashlee Dean, program coordinator, this large-scale event will be June 2-6 and June 9-13.
Stewart was one of 35 students in the College's Welding and Cutting Technology Program who earned their certificates, and he's looking forward to earning an advanced welding certification from MCC later this summer.
With gratitude and respect, Meridian Community College honored its recent and upcoming retirees, recognizing the impact of those who came to work with purpose and made a difference in students' and colleagues' lives.
