Meridian Community College will celebrate Black History Month with a program on Wednesday, Feb. 22, titled "Embracing the History and Culture of Gospel Music: Something to Sing About."
Some 50 photographic works by Thailand native and professor of art and design Wanrudee Buranakorn will be showcased at Meridian Community College's Casteel Gallery beginning Thursday, Feb. 23.
Tracy Johnson, from the Marshall Space Center, came to MCC to speak to campus members and the community, sharing her life's experiences, telling about NASA's Artemis program and encouraging students to explore career potentials.
More than 20 Meridian Community College students visited the capitol in Jackson, taking a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the legislative branch of state government.
Kassi Rushing, a communications and people strategist, led the discussion on Behaviors of Inclusive Leadership and Growing an Engaged Team in the MCC Eagle Leadership Convocation (ELC) Class.
