Sara Beth Brown

Courtyard of Scholars

Sara Beth is a freshman from Rose Hill, MS and a 2019 graduate of Lamar High School. She is a University Transfer student pursuing speech pathology. She plans to transfer to the University for Women to complete her undergraduate degree and eventually obtain her Master's degree in speech pathology. Nu Upsilon, our Phi Theta Kappa Chapter, established a Courtyard of Scholars on campus in the spring of 2014. Each year, our MCC family is given the opportunity to purchase a brick to honor a retiree, faculty, staff, student, family member, or friend. The contributions from purchasing a brick have helped to aid in beautifying an area on campus and annually funds a scholarship for a returning sophomore that is a Phi Theta Kappa member.
