Jerome Watkins
Freshman Military/Veteran of the Year
Jerome Watkins, from York, AL, is a 1989 graduate of Sumter County High School. He
graduated from the Culinary Arts Technology program in 2019 and is currently enrolled
in the MCC transfer program with Mississippi State University to earn his Bachelor
of Science in Applied Technology. He hopes to own his own food truck business in the
future. This award is presented to the military or veteran student who is currently
serving or has served in the United States military. The student must be a freshman,
currently enrolled, and have a 2.0 or higher grade point average. We congratulate
Jerome Watkins.
