All-Mississippi Academic Team
MCC and Phi Theta Kappa have the opportunity to nominate up to four students for our campus for the All- USA Academic Team Program: two career-bound, workforce-ready applicants and two transfer-bound applicants. Students were selected for their intellectual rigor, academic achievement, leadership, and civic growth, and for extending their educational experiences to better themselves, their schools, and their surrounding communities. 

Hospitality Management Student of the Year 
LaRobert is a sophomore from Philadelphia, MS and is a graduate of Philadelphia High School. He is a Hospitality Management Technology major and plans to continue his education at the University of Southern Mississippi and open his own restaurant. This award is given to a student who displays excellence in the field of hospitality management and is based on grade point average, community service, and overall performance.
