Meridian Community College congratulated its own at the End-of-the-Year Celebration hosted by the MCC Foundation to recognize the hard work and achievements of College faculty and staff.
Meridian Community College's Nu Upsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa received the Recognizing Excellence in Acceptance and Completion with Honors Award (REACH) for excelling in membership development.
From ceremonies and celebrations to cheers and tears, MCC hosted two commencements graduates from its Career and Technical Education and University Transfer Programs on Friday, May 10, in the Evangel Temple.
Reflecting on her MCC experience, Higgins said she found a home with her teammates, friends, and College staffers. "I've been to other states, and the people are tense or rough. Here in Meridian, I feel like it's home."
