MCC Radiologic Technology Program Student Megan Nowell of Philadelphia has received the Trustmark Workforce Development Scholarship.
" I've made lifelong friends and worked with people I went to school with, and I've made great connections at MCC," said MCC alumna Erica Glover.
"It's been a banner drive," said LeAnne Motes, campus life coordinator. Some 110 students, faculty and staff, and community members who participated.
MCC’s Utility Lineman Training Program received a Mississippi Department of Employment Securities grant funded through the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA/NDWG) Governor’s Reserve funds.
Thanks to the efforts of Rush Health Systems and MCC staff and students, approximately 200 people got their initial Pfizer vaccine.
