For Meridian Community College Culinary Arts Coordinator and Instructor AnHoward Hill, the passion to pass on the love of cooking doesn't go on the back burner.
"Knowing that the work we do makes a difference in the lives of so many people is very rewarding." That's how MCC Foundation Accountant Brandy Hill sees the mission of her work.
"Scholarships do more than pay the bill; they open doors and create new opportunities. They empower students to focus on their studies, and they inspire them. Because someone believes in them enough to help them pay for college."
A community college president and a chief operating officer and a president for an international corporate communications firm shared their insights and experiences with Eagles Leadership Convocation (ELC) members.
McRae, who has been at the College for six years, said one of the most enjoyable aspects of her job is helping others. "I look forward to coming to work and being a part of this college," she said.
