Meridian Community College ushered in the holiday season with events that brought students, faculty, and staff together to celebrate and connect.
Dr. Lavon Gray shared his insights on managing conflict during his presentation, "Choose to Defuse: Conflict Resolution in the Heat of Battle," when he spoke to members of MCC's Eagles Leadership Convocation.
This meeting, led by deans and instructors, aimed to determine how curriculum updates and new approaches could increase enrollment in paramedic programs and address barriers that prevent students from completing their training.
The project began with funding from the Mississippi NASA Space Grant and has grown opportunities for students to get real-world scientific experience, said Dr. Angie Carraway, MCC Space Grant Campus coordinator.
