Twenty-nine Meridian Community College students were celebrated as they were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for 2025-26.
Evyn McDaniel was awarded the Mississippi Nurses Foundation Scholarship, which recognizes nursing students who show strong skills and a commitment to making a difference in patients' lives.
Alison Beatriz Perez-Zapata graduated from MCC's Physical Therapist Assistant Program in 2025. She is now a licensed physical therapist assistant working at Choctaw Residential Center through MidSouth Rehab.
MCC students in health education and nursing programs are receiving vital support through the Bower Foundation Grant, which funds the Helping Healthy Eagles initiative.
MCC's Associate Degree Nursing Program continues to set the standard for excellence in Mississippi, recording a 92 percent first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.
