The McCain Theater turned into an enchanted world - for just a weekend - thanks to the efforts of MCC's Arts & Letters Series group, Stage 2.
Leslie and Bill Carruth lost their daughter, Allie, in a tragic accident in the spring of 2017 and continue to honor her memory through the Allie Cat Run and Festival. Now in its fourth year, the event donates proceeds to various nonprofit organizations, including MCC.
MCC's College4Kids wrapped up the 2021 session with as much enthusiasm as it began with. One student's endorsement: "Do this. It's fun."
When they first met during a cake decorating class at MCC's College4Kids in summer 2001, Tyler Shirley and Lauren Walker Shirley never dreamed they would be baking desserts together 20 years later.
With 100 hours of clinical experience gained and 100 sticks performed, 10 students in Meridian Community College's Phlebotomy Essentials Program celebrated their completion with a ceremony held in MCC-Riley Workforce Development Center.
