Meridian Community College will recognize National Yoga Month by offering free yoga sessions every Friday throughout September. The one-hour class begins at 11 a.m.
"This is a chance for students to be able to reach resources that we don't have available here at MCC," said Nedra Bradley, MCC executive director of family services and student support.
The ADN program prepares students for careers as registered nurses by combining classroom instruction with hands-on clinical training in local healthcare facilities.
"This collaboration between MCC and MPSD exemplifies our shared commitment to student success," said Dr. Amy Carter, superintendent of Meridian Public School District.
Robertson, who serves as the Practical Nursing and Health Education advisor, has been named MCCer of the Month for August.
