For the sixth time, MCC's Precision Machining and Manufacturing Program received a scholarship grant from the Gene Haas Foundation.
Mosley works full-time by day as the HSE coordinator for adult education at MCC. In the evening, she studies and creates in this CTE program that trains students in print and media design or virtual and augmented reality design.
From Meridian, Jerome Adkins, 23, received the $1,000 scholarship earmarked for students who exhibit professional character, leadership, scholarship, and service and participate in school of nursing activities.
MCC Associate Degree Nursing Program students got another hands-on learning opportunity when the College hosted its Drive-Thru COVID-19 vaccination session at the Dulaney Center.
At MCC, students who qualify and earn a GED/High School Equivalency through the MIBEST Program can enroll in CTE programs such as Truck Driving, Welding, Culinary Arts, Phlebotomy, Health Care Assistant, Medical Office Technology and Entrepreneurship.
