Raven Satcher is on a mission to impact children's lives positively. "I always wanted to open my own daycare, and I love to teach kids in any way possible because every kid learns in unique ways."
Meridian Community College honored Dr. Sarah Abernathy, David Garner, and David Quave during its annual Hall of Fame ceremony, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the institution and the wider community.
"This award highlights the critical role of speech and debate in developing essential skills in our students. Joining the ranks of notable PKD alumni is a testament to the impact of our collective efforts in this field," said Dr. Huebner.
Dr. Leia Hill received the Leadership Award from the Women in Higher Education Mississippi Network, signifying the recognition of her excellent leadership qualities, her ability to lead others, and her commitment to making a significant difference at MCC.
