County Law Enforcement Advisory Roundtable is a monthly meeting that brings together agency heads from across the area. There's no set agenda or formal presentation, just open discussion about issues, trends, and opportunities that affect public safety across the county.
MCC is gearing up for one of its most anticipated family events of the fall, Candy Cruise Around the Track, set for Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the MCC Track. Admission is free and open to the public.
Hundreds of MCC students, faculty, and staff rolled up their sleeves to lend a hand from painting murals, planting gardens, performing for nursing home residents, and more.
For Jackie Kidd, being chosen as an ambassador is personal. "I believe in mammograms," she said. "If you don't do anything else, you have a pelvic exam and a mammogram every year -- without fail."
