Six MCC students are finding their wings and starting their careers in the surgical technology arena. To celebrate, the Class of 2023 will have a pinning ceremony on Thursday, July 27.
"The biggest thing about Liftoff is for students to know we are here to help them. We want them to succeed and do everything we can to help them find that pathway to graduation," said Director of Recruiting Mandy Hurtt.
Incoming freshman got to tour the campus, network with faculty and staff, get their student ids and complete other tasks before the first day of Fall Semester 2023 begins.
Kimbrough is one of five recipients of the Mississippi Association of Adult and Community Education (MAACE) Organization's Students of the Year Award.
