Mandi Stanley, the first Mississippian to receive the certified professional speaker (CPS) designation, led the latest Eagles Leadership Convocation session.
Each fall, MCC honors first-generation college students with a reception, banner signing, and a talk by a guest speaker to encourage these students to continue their academic endeavors.
With half a year on the job under his belt as Meridian Community College's Chief of Campus Police, Casey McElhenney continues to make strides to ensure safety and security to the College.
"Helping students, especially the ones that have given up on finding help, then seeing or hearing them overjoyed by the help the scholarship has given them is rewarding," Hogan said.
