MCC gallery show to focus on photography

Some 50 photographic works by Thailand native and professor of art and design Wanrudee Buranakorn will be showcased at Meridian Community College's Casteel Gallery beginning Thursday, Feb. 23.
Tracy Johnson, from the Marshall Space Center, came to MCC to speak to campus members and the community, sharing her life's experiences, telling about NASA's Artemis program and encouraging students to explore career potentials.
More than 20 Meridian Community College students visited the capitol in Jackson, taking a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the legislative branch of state government.
MCC alumna and Meridian native Tracy Johnson, deputy manager of program planning and control at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, will speak to the MCC campus and community on February 14.
