Gaining Eagle Experience
Enterprise resident Dara Phillips is looking forward to her next academic step in
pursuing her studies in nursing.
“I’m excited for next semester,” she said after participating in Meridian Community College’s Eagle Experience Preview Day. The event allows new students to see what it’s like to be on a college campus. Students learn about the College’s admission process, scholarship opportunities, educational options and more.
Phillips said she attended because she wanted to see for herself the MCC campus. “And I wanted to see how friendly the students are and how good the faculty and administration are. So far, it’s been a really fun experience,” she said.
Campus officials are mindful of COVID safety guideline, and the number of participants was limited during the first session.
