MCCers win at FBLA competition

Seven Meridian Community College students won 11 awards during the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) state competition at the organization's conference held at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. 

Approximately 100 students from the state’s colleges and universities competed in this annual event. 

MCC winners included Sabien Lyons, first, Cyber Security; Justin Pugh, first, Help Desk; Lyons, Matthew Gressett and Pugh, first; Network Design; and Gressett, first, Networking Concepts; Delvin James, second, Cyber Security; Daniel Knight, second; Network Design; and Stephen Milling, second, Project Management; Milling, third, Information Management; SeDerrick Davis, third, Project Management. 

The winners earned a spot to advance to the national competition in Atlanta in June.
