MCC’s Dimensions set for Arts & Letters performance March 26
It will be an evening of music, memories, and celebrations when Meridian Community College’s vocal group, Dimensions, performs on Thursday, March 26.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in the McCain Theater on the MCC campus as part of the college’s Arts & Letters Series. Admission is free of charge for the campus and community.
Dimensions, known for its mix of pop, Broadway, and classic hits, will perform a wide range of songs. The set list includes “Free Ride” by the Edgar Winter Group, Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind,” and “Blame It on the Boogie” by Michael Jackson. Audience members will also hear selections from Broadway, including “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen, “Tonight” from Hamilton, and “Listen” from Dreamgirls.
The group will also perform favorites such as “Orange Colored Sky” and “This Will Be an Everlasting Love” by Natalie Cole, “At Last” as performed by Cynthia Erivo, and Whitney Houston’s “I Believe in You and Me.”
This year’s performers are Lauren Broome, Arron Davis, Margarita Gonzalez, Matthew Jackson, Haley Reynolds, Scarlett Walker, Timiahis Wallace, Tiyanna Ward, Aidyn Way, and Sarah Elizabeth Warren.
The production is led by Mitch Brantley, instrumental director; Daniel Boles, technical director; and Tammy Miles, artistic director.
In addition to live music, the show will feature a special video presentation highlighting the 23-year history of Dimensions. The video includes photos and clips from past performances, offering a look back at the group’s legacy on campus.
The evening is expected to celebrate both the current cast and the long-standing tradition of excellence that Dimensions brings to the MCC stage.
