MCC to host Night with MCC Baseball
Meridian Community College will host its annual A Night with MCC Baseball on Saturday, Jan.25, at the Quave Student Life Center on the MCC campus.
This event will feature a “hot stove” style discussion with special guest speakers, allowing baseball enthusiasts to hear from some of the top minds in the sport.
The evening will include appearances by baseball recruiting coordinators Jake Gautreau from Mississippi State University, Carl Lafferty from the University of Mississippi, and Travis Creel from the University of Southern Mississippi. Known for their expertise in identifying and developing top baseball talent, the trio will offer insights into the recruiting world and share their experiences in the game.
The event will kick off with a Meet and Greet at 6 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to interact with the guest speakers and connect with other baseball fans.
“This event has become a favorite tradition for our community and baseball fans alike,” said Chris Haralson, program coordinator. “We’re excited to bring together these guest speakers to share their knowledge and passion for the game.”
A Night with MCC Baseball continues its tradition of delivering engaging content in a format similar to the last two years, providing an evening of camaraderie and baseball storytelling.
