Three MCC students presented their research at the fifth annual Mississippi IDeA/EPSCoR Conference. The regional event is co-hosted by Mississippi INBRE and Mississippi EPSCorR to build STEM and biomedical research.

Rhodes builds career through MCC Welding and Cutting Technology Program
Samuel Rhodes received his technical certificate from MCC's Welding and Cutting Technology Program during the Summer Commencement ceremony. The 19-year-old fitter-welder reads drawings, cuts steel, and joins pieces to create beams and columns.
Ochsner Rush MA-to-LPN grads honored at MCC pinning ceremony
Six Meridian Community College Practical Nursing Program graduates were honored during the program's pinning ceremony for being the first group to complete the Ochsner Rush MA-to-LPN Upgrade Program.
