ADN Advisor Valerie Creel was named MCCer of the Month for June. The MCC Foundation bestows this honor, and it spotlights outstanding faculty and staff members for the work they do for the College.
When MCC Culinary Arts Technology Program students begin their studies in the fall, they'll gather, learn and grow in the new Mark Chandler Center for Culinary Arts.
MCC has often been referred to as family, and the phrase revealed its literal meaning because many faculty and staff members had family members who graduated from the College this month.
Meridian Community College faculty and staffers were applauded for service and were spotlighted for achievements when the MCC Foundation and the MCC Faculty Staff Association combined efforts for an end-of-academic-year luncheon.
"My favorite part of this job," Wright said, "is sharing my passion for psychology with students and helping them to maximize their fullest potential by applying what they have learned in everyday life."
