Get ready, get set, and get going on Saturday, Oct. 21, to the Queen City Race for Life and Street Strut, the annual breast cancer awareness event sponsored by Meridian Community College.
Four MCCers, Steven Miller, Brandy Hill, Kelli Wallace and Destiny Redmond, have been recognized as the Meridian area's outstanding citizens as members of the Class of 2023 Top 20 Under 40.
According to the American Red Cross, the nation's blood supply has fallen critically low. To help with the demand, MCCers and community residents stepped up to give during the College's two-day blood drive.
In a ceremony filled with reverence and gratitude, Meridian Community College hosted a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag-raising ceremony with campus and community turning out in front of Ivy-Scaggs Hall.
