Meridian Community College graduate Natacha Fortenberry gained more than just cooking skills from its Culinary Arts Program.
"MCC laid a firm foundation as I began my higher-education journey; my experience at MCC provided me with valuable skills and networking opportunities that have helped me see much success in my career," said Shirley.
For Meridian Community College staffer Janet Parrett, a failing grade in medical records history class turned her life around and has impacted the countless lives of others.
"I wouldn't miss this for anything," Kino said, standing alongside nearly 100 others ready to run or walk in the College's Queen City Race for Life and Street Strut for Breast Cancer, held at MCC's track.
For most, pursuing a career in the medical field or becoming a touring rock musician is an either-or deal. For MCC alumnus Ted Hennington, these two worlds have blended harmoniously.
