The College's Science and Wellness Division hosted the regional contest earlier this semester.

The You Be The Chemist® Challenge is a collaborative, multi-level student science competition that celebrates the science of chemistry and elevates STEM careers. Fifth through eighth-grade students can compete in teams of three or four.

Sponsored by the Chemical Educational Foundation, the challenge provides opportunities for various individuals and organizations, including schools, chemical industry members, educators, and other community partners, to unite and show their support for STEM education. This year marks the challenge's 20th anniversary.
