Student Affairs staffers serve burgers and hot dogs at the Campus Cookout Splash Edition.Meridian Community College launched Fall Semester 2023 with energy, wrapping up a calendar-packed week, and is gearing up for the term ahead.

From the first day of in-person classes to Campus Life's Fall Welcome Week Activities–including the Campus Cookout Splash Edition and Courtyard Social–MCCers are settling into a new semester routine.

Kelli Wallace, director of housing and student activities, noted Welcome Week was well-attended. "We had some 200 to 300 students participating in each event, including student engagement from athletes to housing to commuter students. Many people came back to campus to attend," she said.

Next on the College's calendar: Online classes begin today, Aug. 21, and Student Activities' Nacho  Average Wednesday is Aug. 30, from 1-3 p.m., at Quave Student Life Center.
