Personnel with Meridian Community College's Culinary Arts Technology Program and Threefoot hotel partnered for a special event on the MCC campus to showcase the program and the business's offerings.

"I think this community has a lot to offer, and it's up to us within the community to make sure we're putting it straight forward," said Silvia Rojas, general manager at the Threefoot.

Rojas and An Howard Hill, MCC Culinary Arts Technology Program coordinator, greeted guests at the Mark Chandler Center for Culinary Arts.

Hill noted working alongside industry partners benefits many. "Community relations contribute significantly to the success of MCC's Culinary Arts Program and our student's success upon graduation. Working together helps grow the local pool of employable candidates while creating value in Meridian's many job opportunities," Hill said.

Rojas added, "We could do a good job individually, but we can do a phenomenal job together. That makes a huge difference."
