Casteel Gallery unveils 'Vertical Horizons' exhibit by alumnus Robert Evans
Contemporary mixed media will take the Casteel Gallery spotlight when the next Casteel Gallery show, "Vertical Horizons: Inharmonic Shifts of Light, Color, and Texture," opens on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The works are by Robert Evans, an MCC alumnus who is an artist and general manager at Hope Village for Children. Evans also studied at East Central Community College, the University of Southern Mississippi, and the University of Maryland and served in the military.
The show will have a reception celebrating the artist on Tuesday, Jan. 30, the exhibit's closing date.
The Homer Casteel Gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
