Thirty-eight MCCers inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Thirty-eight Meridian Community College students were honored for their achievements as they were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for the 2024-25 academic year. 

NTHS is a national organization that recognizes outstanding students in career and technical education programs. 

To qualify for membership, students must be enrolled in a career and technical program, earn a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and complete at least 24 credit hours. Students must also demonstrate honesty, responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and good citizenship. 

"Being named to the National Technical Honor Society represents not only a remarkable achievement but a commitment to excellence in technical skill and academic rigor," said Lori Smith, MCC dean of workforce education and NTHS advisor. "This honor is a testament to their hard work and the bright future that lies ahead for each of them."
