MCC welcomes employees back for Convocation Week
Breakfast, door prizes, and motivational talk will help Meridian Community College employees start the new academic year during Convocation and Welcome Back Week, Aug. 10-14.
The week begins today, Monday, Aug. 10, with MCC’s annual Convocation in McCain Theater. Faculty and staff will hear campus updates and a keynote presentation from Will Baggett, a nationally recognized speaker who focuses on leadership, communication and personal branding.
Activities will continue throughout the week with training sessions, division, and committee meetings, professional learning opportunities, and employee benefits information. Faculty and staff can also take part in optional events, including wellness screenings, free sno cones and a come-and-go lunch.
The week will lead into Move-In Day on Saturday, Aug. 15, as MCC prepares to welcome students back to campus for the fall semester.
