Meridian Community College will host four Spring Commencement 2026 ceremonies on Friday, May 8, and Monday, May 11. All ceremonies will be held on campus, with Graham Gymnasium serving as the primary venue and overflow seating available in McCain Theater.

This spring marks the third time in recent years that MCC has brought commencement back to campus.

“Graduation is one of the most meaningful moments in a student’s life, and we are proud to celebrate that achievement here at MCC,” said MCC President Dr. Tom Huebner. “This is where our students studied, trained, built relationships, and prepared for their next steps. Holding commencement on campus allows us to honor their hard work in a place that has been central to their journey.”

Dr. Huebner said offering multiple ceremonies helps create a more personal experience for graduates and their families.

“By hosting several ceremony times, we can make commencement more comfortable, accessible, and meaningful for those celebrating this milestone,” he said.

The first ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, for graduates of Associate Degree Nursing and Health Care Assistant programs.

The second ceremony will follow at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, for health education graduates from Dental Hygiene Technology, Health Information Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Technology, and Respiratory Care Practitioner programs.

MCC’s third ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 11, for career and technical graduates. Programs included in this ceremony are Early Childhood, Business Office Management, Marketing Management, Truck Driving, Medical Office Management, Automotive Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Graphic Design, Culinary Arts, Electrical Technology, Welding, Media Production, Hospitality Management, Precision Machining, Network and Cyber Security, Software Coding, Digital Marketing, Accounting Technology, Utility Lineman, Diesel Mechanics, and Construction Trades.

The final ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, May 11, for University Transfer graduates.

Ahead of commencement, several MCC health education programs will host individual pinning ceremonies on Thursday, May 7. Those programs include Dental Hygiene, Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Associate Degree Nursing.
