MCCers observe Medical Assisting Week

Meridian Community College students and faculty marked Medical Assisting Recognition Week (MARWEEK) by celebrating the vital role of medical assistants in healthcare.
As a way to celebrate, medical assisting students received gifts from Gloria Adams, the Medical Assisting Technology Program coordinator and instructor, purchased using funds raised through their participation in Fall Fest.
The week highlighted the importance of medical assistants, whose work spans administrative and clerical tasks in the healthcare system. Adams expressed pride in the accomplishments of the graduates and current students, recognizing their commitment to this profession.
