New year, new venue

The College’s library is temporarily located in Montgomery Hall.
Though the Todd Library is now at its temporary home on the second floor of Montgomery Hall, tours of the library and other services continue to happen, said Doug Jernigan, director of library services.
“Tours are done on an as-needed basis and usually occur during class time,” Jernigan said, adding, “any instructor can have a tour scheduled for their classes.” Requests can be completed through the library’s website or by contacting Jernigan, via email, djerniga@meridiancc.edu, or phone, 1762.
English students comprise most of those who participate in the library tours because of the research components required in those classes. “The library offers tours each semester for nursing classes as well, but the librarians will provide tours for any class or program,” Jernigan said.
The library hours are Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
