LEAD session focuses on motivation

Equipping students with essential motivational skills was the highlight of the LEAD – Leadership Effectiveness and Development – session hosted by Meridian Community College’s Campus Life.

Kimberly Rush, associate dean of advising, retention, and student success, spoke to the David H. Quave Student Life Center audience and shared how motivation can drive success in various aspects of their lives, both in and out of the classroom.

In addition to offering insights, Rush gave practical tips to become motivated and continue that momentum.

MCC’s LEAD sessions are held monthly and are open to all MCCers. The subsequent sessions are on Feb. 21, March 6, and April 10. The meetings begin at 1 p.m. in the Quave Center.
