LOL volunteers include MCC alums
Kate McCarty, a graduate of Meridian Community College, came back to campus—this time to give back.
McCarty volunteered during Love Out Loud (LOL) Meridian, helping with games for kids at the Boys & Girls Club Sports Camp. The event took place on MCC’s soccer field and was part of a partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Started in 2013 by Northcrest Baptist Church, LOL has grown into a community-wide effort with more than 30 churches involved.
MCC was one of several sites across the city hosting activities during the week.
