Eagles Strut Pink Kickoff set for Friday

The country has recognized October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month for nearly four decades, and for 10 years, Meridian Community College has been associated with local fund-raising and awareness efforts with the Queen City Race for Life and Street Strut.

On Friday, Sept. 29, at 9 a.m. in front of Ivy-Scaggs Hall, MCC will usher in Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a kickoff celebration. Campus and community are invited to wear pink, meet the race and strut ambassadors, and learn more about the fundraiser set for Saturday, Oct. 21.
